A tale was told of a famed atheist who wrote books, sold tapes and written columns preaching his unbelief in the existence of God. Oddly he was a nature lover and was in the Black Forest admiring the grandeur of creation.Suddenly, there was a rustling behind him and as he turned he saw a 6 feet tall bear rushing toward him. Without hesitation he sped with all his might whizzing past trees after trees. But the bear was still closing in on him.

Almost out of breath and with his legs giving out, he was mighty relief to see a small cabin about 100 yards away. With the angry bear closing behind him, he summoned all his might to dashed for the finish line – the cabin door.

When he reached the cabin, he quickly grabbed the door knob to open. To his horror, the door could not open! As he turned around to meet his fate, he closed his eyes and let out a cry – “Oh My God!”.

Suddenly, the bear stopped and a glorious light suddenly beamed on the atheist and as he looked up at this blinding light – he heard a voice.

What do I make of you? For all the times you have denied my existence and made your living professing that lie, are you now repenting? Do I regard you now a Christian?

The stunned atheist replied, “That would be hypocritical of me. I cannot sudden believe in You because of a crisis situation. I don’t want to be a Christian, just make the bear- Christian.”

Thinking that he had outwitted God, the atheist noticed that suddenly.. the bear knelt down with its palms closed in prayer..
