Pastor Henry shared that this year 2007 is a significant year as it is the Year of Jubilee, of freedom for this nation. And Seven being the divine number of God and of completion. Many people have prayed over the many many years to see this country turn for the better. To put the end to the rot, corruption, violence, discrimination and racism. To return the rights to its citizen. To see justice and righteousness – something that is very close to God’s heart.

The thing is God has already birth our prayers. And the enemy is trying to kill it while it is still in infancy. (No surprise here if you remember what Herod did and what Pharoah did).

The gathering on the 10th of November is a significant event to our nation’s history. It will mark the day that Malaysians put feet to their prayers, to walk the talk so to speak. It will also be the day that the enemy will frighten us with violence, with imprisonment, with FEAR.
I believe that unless our Agong steps in reform the Election Commission, our hopes and prayers for a just and fair nation will come to nothing as the BN machinery has total control over the Election Commission. So it is imperative that there be reform before the election can be fair.

I appeal to all of you to join this march. Without fear. As citizens of this country who wants to see change in this nation.

This is the day that the Lord has made
for the people of this country
to show their love for this land

This is the time to stand up and
be counted if you had enough
and you want to see change

If you have been praying for change
for a better fairer country
for your future
for your childrens’ future
this is a day

This is the day to put feet to your prayers
to put your faith in action
to take the risk

This is the day Christians
can no longer just stay at home and pray
but to take the streets
to stand, to walk and to be in solidarity
with others who risk it all
